Dear Friends,

The frequency of me posting photos here, has reduced dramatially in past year or so. In a few previous posts, I mentioned the fact that I had very little time for blogging then. I also know that there won't be anything new if I dragged the time factor again but I'm affraid that I still have no better reason. This post comes straight away after 15 weeks while there was a time when I used to write a 'blogpost' even to notify that "I wouldn't be able to blog for next six weeks." Huhhhh. :-/

My absence doesn't really imply the fact that I don't even have one hour to make a blogpost. No!!! But I find it a little difficult to visit all my blogger friends regularly. At most of the times I'm busy and at other times, I'm a little too lazy, I admit. I had never known that staying alone was this difficult. The joy of blogging comes principally from visits and sharing comments and When I can't visit my blogger friends regularly then there is nothing left in making blind blogposts. Taking photos seems a distant dream and it has eventually gone out of my reach now. I can only post what I have in stock from my hometown. :-(

So here is the sixth part of my hometown photo series- 'Creatures'. It must have taken more than one visit to capture them as much as I can recall. More photos can be found in my facebook account.

Hello Dear Friends,

I has really been long since I made my last post here. It was still late winters when I uploaded the 4th part of my hometown series-"Wild Plants" but now summers are on with all its heat. I was so busy with my academics and my daily routine that I almost missed the arrival of springs this year. I remember, last year I captured so many colorful flowers and uploaded quite a few here too but so far, everything has been secondary except studies this year. It seems like I'm missing the best half of myself, that is taking pictures.

Anyways, here is the 5th part of my hometown photos series-"Flowers." Please note that these photos are not from this spring, rather I captured them in past 2-3 visits to my hometown including all other photos that I'll be posting here soon.

Your E-mails and comments are very important and that's what keeps me going here, even while working through a difficult semester, heavy books, a busy daily routine and unfortunately at last, sleeplessness. I tried to capture the beauty of Indian Monsoon in this section and I hope this post will be liked by you all.

What can I say about Sachin Tendulkar that has not already been said or written about? Isn't it enough to say that the world has been lucky to see him play for past 20 years? Who had ever imagined that a little 16 year old boy from Mumbai who stood for India against Pakistan on 15th November, 1989 in Karachi, becoming the 3rd youngest cricketer and the first Indian in the history of the game to represent his country, will not only go on to break all the records that were made by legends like Sir Don Bradman, Vivian Richards, Garyfield Sobers and Sunil Gavaskar but will also set such statistics that seemed like a mere joke then.

The best thing about Sachin is that despite scaling new peaks of popularity and respect, he has both feet planted firmly on the ground. That's the reason why he has survived 20 long years as a top level athlete and continues to prosper all form of life. He has gone on to climb dizzy of heights, he has got married, raised a family, and somehow remained the same humble man throughout. He never opened his mouth to reply his critics, he just answered everyone from his bat. It's an honour to talk about the man I've admired all my life. As a kid I enjoyed watching his feats on TV and he was the only reason why I fell in love with cricket.

Who can forget the 1999 World Cup, when he played even though his father passed away midway through the tournament? He took a break to attend the funeral and returned quickly to score a century, then looked up to the skies to seek his father's blessings. It was a very touching and emotional moment for every Indian. The poignancy of that moment has stayed in the minds of all who watched that knock. I am no exception.

I remember that test match against Australia last year in which he surpassed Brian Lara's world record of highest runs (11945) in test cricket. In the post-match press conference, the little master as humble as ever, said, " I have never let the passion die inside me, the passion of representing my country. I always dreamed playing for India and and whatever the records I have made or broken, may be the cosequence of that. There will come time when people will throw stones at you, but only you can convert them into milestones."

The two matches that he played against Australia in Sharjah in April 1998, made him a true legend. It was a triangular series. He made a century and took India to the final. Then again in final, on 24th April, 1998 which was also his 26th birthday, he made fantastic 131 runs to see India winning that tri-series. It was after that match when Legendry Spinner Shane Warne said " I saw Sachin hitting me all over the park in my dream."

MY RECENT VISIT OF VAISHNODEVI HILLS

Hello Friends. The following pics are from my recent Vaishnodevi and Kashmir visit in July. I really took a long time to post them as I finally have got a full version photo compression software. Earlier my pics used to be of 2-3 MB's that caused my blog to run slowly. Now these pics are just of around 100 KB's and as I have set the dimensions myself, they are somehow good enough to be seen on a computer screen. I have bunked a class to make this much suspended post, so I won't be able to explain my visit and everything in detail. You can though read the details on each and every pics. Hope you will like them. Next time I'll come with my pics from Patnitop, a small hill station 100 km's from Katra City which was established by the Britishers in the 19th century. After my holy visit of Vaishnodevi Hills and Mata's Bhawan, I moved ahead in search of some foggy Deodar forests but there was nothing like that when I reached Patnitop. Yet I had a graet time there. Hello friends. I really had a busy academic week here, had to attend hours and hours of lecture and with new and difficult subjects, this semester is not going to be easy, thats for sure. This night is gathering on me altogether with the past six days resembling like nothing more than a jumble. I'm glad in such a situation my music is always there to help me. Just A Rainy Afternoon

Hello Friends.

Today while it was still late afternoon, it started raining and within 15 minutes it got huge. It rained heavily for two hours and with wind speed of around seventy km per hour. Surely, it must have taken away a lot of trees.

This night is different than all the other summer nights. Something like what I used to have in my native place in the North-Eastern India while my earliert childhood. During a rainy season, it rained profusely in daytime and after the nights arrived, it rained even more. My life is somehow strange and I can't memories anything about my preteen without the rain being a part of it. Eight years have passed after I stepped out of my hometown but it still pours a similar kind of light when it starts raining, no matter wherever I'm, though the basic elements of rain are missing here. I miss the pre-monsoon showers, I miss the sound of rain drops falling on the trees of my backyard, I miss the beating of droplets on my window, I miss playing cricket in the water logged playground, I miss missing school due to it, I miss the desire of growing older. But still, today it was pleasent, like any rainy afternoon you saw an old Irish castle from a distance and through a thick pool of water, like you desperately wanted it to rain and at the end of the day it ended up raining too much more than you wanted......may be like the old yellow pages of your favorite story book getting wet by the first drop of the monsoon. Tonight I feel like that long lost child again who once in 1998 waited for it to stop raining, sitting at that little blue window, so that he could have gone outside to play cricket in the nearby playground, but sadly for a little fellow, it rained for eleven days and nights continuously, with the same intensity. :-)

It has been a while since I posted a picture the last time. Actually I'm looking for a good full version photo compression software. I need to resize all my pictures before posting them here on the blogger as they cause it to run slowly. I'll soon post the pics from my recent Kashmir visit, and later I'll start posting my hometown pics, in ten parts as I said in my last post.

Hello.

I hope you all had a great time with your old precious friends on the 74th Friendship Day.

I haven't posted a single picture from my home town yet. I captured quite a few while I was there to attend my brother's wedding. I did post around 50 pictures from the wedding but now I guess I must post the remaining, non-wedding pics. I have decided to post them in 10 parts and with different tags. I'll start posting them soon. I hope you will like and let me know if you did.

Meanwhile, have a look at the picture on the left hand side. It was posted by me a few months ago while the spring was on. Just look at the 2nd picture below. That's how the tree looks like now, in monsoon.

Partial Solar Eclipse, New Delhi, India.

As the "eclipse of the century" left the South Asian countries stunned on 22nd July, 2009, it surely has also left many regretting for not being able to see it either because it was a partial one in their respective cities or rather because they couldn't see "The Diamond Ring" and "The Black Sun" even being on the eclipse path as the weather was cloudy and rainy. I'm surely one of them. Here in New Delhi it was going to be a 'Partial Solar Eclipse' (PSE), only 83%. During the eclipse period, Sun appeared behind the clouds only for around 15 minutes. When it did, it already had risen far above the horizon and 50% of the Sun had already reduced till then as you can see in my pictures below. It was strange to see that right from the begginig of the week, Delhi sang only one song- 'Rain Rain Go Away. Ha Ha.... It happens only when there is an International Cricket match going on.

Now I must tell you, though all of you must be aware of, how the "Diamond Ring" and "The Black Sun" is formred. Sun is over 15,00,00,000 kms away from us and the moon is just over 86,000 kms but still call it a magic or something, due to this huge distance both looks like of same size from the Earth. So during a 'Total Solar Eclipse' (TSE) there comes a moment (just for a minute or so) during the eclipse period when the Moon fits completely over the Sun and the outer layer of the Sun, known as 'Corona' looks like a circular ring. This is how the "Black Sun" is formed. Later when the Sun starts getting back to its shape, just for a few seconds when a fraction of the Sun appears on the edge of the Moon, it looks like a "Diamond Ring." He He..... I know only this much.

As Monsoon is on in all parts of the country, very few cities that actually were on the path of the 'TSE' got a chance to see either of them. The eclipse began above the 'Arabian Sea' and ended over the 'South Pacific Ocean' making a semi-circle and covering the countries like India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, Japan etc. In India it really covered a long path. You draw a line from Surat (Gujrat) to Twang (Arunanchal Pradesh), you will get the actual path of the 'TSE' in India. Starting from the state of 'Lord Krishna' called 'Gujrat', the "Diamond Ring" floated through the centre of Madhya Pradesh, South-Eastern parts of Uttar Pradesh, Northern parts of Bihar, extream Northern parts of Bengal, Sikkim, Assam and at last, Arunanchal Pradesh. Before leaving India, 'TSE' also touched a few countries like Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh and 'PSE' was seen almost from all the states. And now I must tell you that why I'm sad. :-(
I'm making these sad faces every where these days, in E-mails, Sms'es, notebooks etc. because my home town was on the way of 'TSE'. See India's map in my previous post, my home town is just around 110 kms from 'Darjeeling'. Strangely, that day it wasn't also raining. Hah..... in that part of the country (North-Eastern India) the rain is on throughout the year, even in autumns. As told by a friend of mine, it rained heavily in all the nearby towns and districts but not there. Everyone has seen the ring there and I being a proud North-Eastern, missed everything. Boo-Hoooooo :-(

It was called as the 'eclipse of the century' because it was the longest eclipse of the 21st century and it was also an important event because the next 'TSE' will knock the world after 136 years. Its simply means that none of us will see that and India will see its next 'TSE' after 360 years.......Hi Hi Hi..... probably after the 3rd World War.

'PSE' will keep happening every year in different-2 parts of the world.

Now here are my pictures of the 'PSE' seen in New Delhi. I know you can find far better pics from on other websites but still I hope you will like them. I tried a lot to capture the Sun directly, I reduced the brightness to the lowest, put the cam into 'Daylight' mode and removed the high light feature but still it was difficult as my cam has got only 4x optical zoom. In recent times I have captured sunsets at regular intervals and I knew it'd happen, so I carried a piece of old negative roll with me that were used earlier in those bulky cameras. :-)

Since I started blogging last year in December, it has always remained unmoved in my daily routine. Though I don't post everyday but I do spend a lot of good time in reading the blogs of my lovely friends around the world. As I have written some where before also that past few months have been fantastic, I have made a few friends through the 'blogger' and have received many heart touching comments for those pics of mine which I thought were just not good enough to be put anywhere except my lappy. So I thank all of you for your love, though I know a 'Thanks' is not good enough to really express how thankful I'm.

Right now I'm here (without any picture) to say sorry to all my friends because I'm going off the internet for around six weeks and wouldn't be available to post new pics, to see your blogs and reply your comments. But it's necessary. I have my endterm theory papers beginning from 14th of May. The time has arrived to cash all my efforts and hardwork with some good marks.
And after finishing the last paper on 26th, the very same day I will be flying to my home town to attend a couple of great events. My 2nd elder brother is getting married on 4th of June. And also on 3rd June, it will be my Mom-Dad's 37th marriage anniversary. I know I should have been there quite early but I have got no other option. I can't avoid the exams also. So after the exams are over, still it will be a bit difficult for me to come back to the blogger soon.

I can't wait till the day of my departure arrives. After stepping out from my sweet sweet home when I was just 11, its the first time when I'll be visiting my home town twice in a year, otherwise every year I visited that dear old place of mine only for 'Durga Puja' and 'Diwaali' in Oct-Nov. As all of you must be aware of, an Indian Wedding is a huge event. It needs at least a month of planning and involvement along with the traditional and cultural things which keep happening everyday (and that are difficult for me to understand), before the wedding night arrives finally. As my brother (the marriage boy, that's what I call him nowdays) has already left, and all other distant relatives will start reaching there in a few days, I'm sorry that being one of most important member of my family (coz I'm the youngest brother amongst the three :-) ), I will be the last one to reach there.

To my friends-
Margaret (Germany, Ireland), Mingfei (China), Keane (Japan), Little girl lost (India), Claire (US), Carly (Australia), Alison (US), Silvio (Brazil), and all of you, I have got only one thing to say- I'm going to miss you, your blogs and your blogposts a lot. To Margaret specially, after coming back, straight away I'm gonna see your pics that you will be bringing from Ireland. I'm happy that you are also flying tommarow to meet your father. Hope I will be having a few good pics from my brother's wedding to post here when I return. xxx.

Right now I'm blogging through my cell phone, I have got no energy left to type more words. Till now, I have almost pressed the keypad thrice to write one alphabet, Not like PC's keypad, one press for one alphabet.... Ha Ha Ha.... So can any one calculate that approximately how many times did I press the keypad ? Don't forget the spaces. :-D
I'm just kidding, don't even try.
My analogous cloth is showing 2.05 am right now, so I think I should go to bed now, gotta wake up at 6.45.

Margaret gave me this "I Love Your Blog" award and I can hardly thank her enough for that. When I made this blog last year in November, I never thought that blogging will become such an important part of my daily life. Though I always take pics randomly and don't apply much of my head, still I didn't wanted to see my pics getting decomposed in my lappy. So I deceided to put them online and share with people. But this whole blogging thing became even more pleasurable when I started getting comments and met some lovely souls. Past few months have been great because this lonely guy has earned so many friends from the Blogger, as he never had many. I waited for this to happen for almost a decade, finally it was announced officially that from the next Olympics in London-2012, women boxing will be a part of the grand event. Its really painful for me to accept that Mary Kom of India, who won the 4th consecutive Gold Medal in World Championship in December last year, has never represented India in Olympics.

But still an another World Champion from India is waiting to participate in Olympics. Its Vishwanathan Aanad from the field of Chess.

Anand won the FIDE World Chess Championship in 2000, at a time when the world title was split. He became the undisputed World Champion in 2007 and defended his title against Vladimir Kramnik in 2008. With this win, he became the first player in chess history to have won the World Championship in three different formats: Knockout, Tournament, and Match. He will next defend his title in the World Chess Championship later this year against Veselin Topalov.

Anand is one of four players in history to break the 2800 mark on the FIDE rating list. He was at the top of the world rankings five out of six times, from April 2007 to July 2008. In October 2008, he dropped out of the world top three ranking for the first time since July 1996.

In 2007 he was awarded India's second highest civilian award, the Padma Vibhushan. He is also the first recipient of Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award in 1991-92, India's highest sporting honour. Even Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar got this award after Anand.

Like I said before in one of my post that now days evenings are so pleasent that I can not keep myself closed in my room; last evening I walked down the empty streets alone. But with beautiful flowers blooming all around and the gentle breeze passing through the trees, I still kept thinking about the terrorist attacks that have continued to create wounds which are hard to heal by. I stepped out my house with a calm mood but when I returned after the twilight was past, it was all gone. I remembered a poem by Sir William Wordsworth, it best suited to my situation.

Now days evenings are so very pleasent to walk around and take pictures. Winters are already past in this part of the world but its still 2-3 weeks from here on till the summers arrive fully. I haven't got my haircut since November, it has got really too long now and you can love your long hairs the most when the evenings are windy. :-)

Flowers are blooming all around; whether its a tiny seasonal plant or a huge winter tree. My digicam got broken day before yesterday, so I have taken most of the following pics from my cell phone (just 2 mega pixels). So the pics aren't of good resolution. Really sorry for thay. Have a look.....

Yet an another terrorist attack and this time sportsmen were the victim. Sri Lanka's national cricket team breathed a sigh of relief as they touched down in Colombo in the early hours of Wednesday morning after surviving the attack by 12 gunmen in Lahore on tuesday. Those who have been injured are Ajantha Mendis, Tharanga Paranavitana, Thilan Samaraweera, Kumar Sangakkara and Mahela Jayawardene and team coach Paul Farbrace.
The memories of Mumbai are still painful when hundreds of people lost their lives in The Taj Hotel. The international image of India has declined after that unfortunate incidence, majority of the people in the world hardly knows that it was planned in Pakistan. The terrorists entered Mumbai through the Arabian Sea. I'm a storog believer of the fact that we all belong to the same planet and every human deserves to be loved and respected, no matter which country he belongs to. I feel bad for the citizen of Pakistan because they have got no option except living in there.
There is no doubt that today, almost every country is suffering from terrorism but the sadest part of the story is that Pakistan, Afghanistan etc are the only few countries where terrorism is raised and motivated. The attack on Mumbai in December last year was even more unfortunate because those terrorists were trained by the Pakistan Navy.
If we talk about Cricket, in past 12 months, each and every team has refused to tour Pakistan including South Africa, Australia, India and England. The Champions Trophy that was supposed to take place in Pakistan last year in was also postponed and later the venue was moved to S. Africa. The tournamet is still pending with many big tournaments already waiting to take place. After what ever happened yesterday, I feel angry. There is anger every where. Pakistan's government is doing nothing to stop it. There is no doubt that it will happen again, again innocent people will be victimised for no reason. Today, I feel fortunate and disgusted at the same time. Fortunate because in not a citizen of Pakistan and disgusted because once Pakistan was a part of India. As I said before also, I love every human living on this planet; I say sorry to all my fellow friends in Pakistan, I'm sorry that I'm typing all my anger here on my blog, I know its not gonna help the situation either, but thats what the truth is. I'd like to die peacefully in any part of this world but I'd never like to go to Pakistan.

Few days back, I walked to a nearby skating training school.

It was a beautiful evening with all the shadowish colours of twilight that I loved right from my kidhood. I took the pictures of little kids. I enjoyed watching, recalled my early childhood days; the days when the advancing age was always cherished and when, being an adult was a luxury. Today I wonder why I thought like that? Being a kid was far better than being an adult, really.

No matter how many times you can roll down the memory lane, no matter with ease or with hard efforts, the truth is that the days will never come back again.

Amazing Catch Again

Just few days back when Adam Voges took that amazing catch at the SCG, In a (see below) T20 match between Australia & New Zealand, it was said that it was really a rare incident and it will take a long time for it to happen again. But the thing that hadn't happened ever in the history of the game before, has happened twice in just a span of 10 days.

On 25th Feb,09, in a T20 match between India & New Zealand, it happened. India were batting first with 5 wickets down. Yousuf Pathan had slammed 3 sixes of the first 3 balls of Nathan McCullm's over and fourth shot was the above one when Jacob Oram took a stunner.

India posted a total of 163 runs in 20 overs. In reply, KIWIS chased that total in their 19th over and defeated India by 7 wickets.

Australia Vs New Zealand, T20 Match.

15th Feb, 2009.
Venue- Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG)

This was one of the most dramatic cricket match that I ever saw.

Australia batted first and scored 150 runs with all wickets down.

In response, New Zealand struggled with quick early wickets. Brendon McCullum's matured inning of 61 runs in just 47 balls gave the Kiwis some hope before Adam Voges took this brillient catch and stunned the whole of the SCG.

Later, match reached the situation when NZ needed 12 runs to win the match, or 11 runs to tie the match with just 2 ball remaining and Brendon McCullums's younger brother Nathan McCullum tried all his best to manage a 4 and a 6 but sadly, NZ still fell short, managing 149 runs in provided 20 overs to loose the match by just 1 run.

Few years ago during my earliest childhood, when I saw a far distant Mt. Kunchunjunga, World's 3rd highest peak from my backyard, then a bit later when I saw the enchanting green- white mountains of Darjeeling and Gantok, and much recently, just an year ago when I visited Jammu-Kashmir and saw the Himalayan range with more clearity, I never ever expected an entirely different face of the Himalayas to exist somewhere, in upper part of the Jammu and Kashmir.

Recently I visited Ladakh (Leh), situated in the state of Jammu and Kashmir, India, to meet a friend named T.Angmo, then after I learned many more real things about the place. There is something in there that will keep calling me again and again.

Ladakh is a former kingdom of the Himalayas that shares more common geographical and cultural traits with Tibet than with the rest of India. My friend said that Tibetan culture is now days better preserved in Ladakh than in Tibet. Like its cross-border neighbor, Ladakh is a high altitude semi-desert lying in the rain shadow north of the Himalayas. The only greenery are the irrigated wheat and barley fields near the isolated villages, most of which are accessible only by trails that follow deep river valleys, trees are rarely seen. Seems like the dry and bare mountains of this place are unmoved from years, though I know mountains never move. Seems like the lonely valleys are trying to narrate a beautiful story yet no one is interested to listen. What I mean is that there is nothing in this place but still something is there in its infinite emptyness. Not everyone will like this place surely. Treeless brown mountains, stones and rocks every where, tribal people who resembles more like Tibetans, while sitting in front of the lonely valleys you can sometimes here the shepherd songs but can never find from where its coming? Seems like years ago these songs came out from the vocal chords of some ancient shepherds but are sruggling to escape out from the place and are retained within the mountains for years of bounces and deflections.

It was the first time when I visited a new place and used my eyes more than my camera. But still I have got few pictures to share with you lovely people who have gone through my sentences patiently. Not all pictures are from Ladakh, as I took few pics. in between the path also. Have a look. Thanks a lot.

The Incredible India

India, the largest democracy in the World, is home to a varied population of over one billion people that coexist in a vibrant multi-religious, multi-lingual, multi-ethic and multi-cultural country. Over the millenia of history of the country, we people have built an unmatchad architectural heritage of rock-carved caves, places of worship for a large number of religions, temples and palaces. From such small things like fabrics and spices, to entire towns painted with striking tints, to place of lonely Himalayas called Ladakh (Leh), or to a place of Blue houses called Jodhpur in Rajsthan, India is possibly the most colourful of all countries. Sometimes its too difficult to believe that, three out of the ten richest people on Earth belong to a country where lakhs of similar people are unable to arrange even two meal in a day.

I have many reasons to call myself a proud Indian; though the country is not liked by many in other corners of this planet. Sometimes it really hurts to accept that for some people, the colour of the skin really matters more than the beautiful colours that constitutes this nation, and sitting here in India with a same skin colour, I cant help it either. Years have passed after the comment was passed for us- "The Bloody Indians", but the hurt doesn't seem is healing for many, and sadly, many more across the World are not letting it heal. :-(

But yet again, being the citizen of a country that celebrated 60 years of its independence last year, where clothing, food, language, fauna, culture and annual celebration are changed after every 100th km is walked, where the Holy Ganga has preserved its purity in the hearts of pilgrims of both home and abroad with full earnest since its birth, where a symbol of love called The Taj Mahal has attracted and inspired trillions of lovers over centuries, where one Lata Mangeshkar has kept the whole nation united with her devine voice for over 6 decades, where a billion of screaming people turn quite when one Sachin Tendulkar gets dismissed on 99 and a country that has the most rapidely growing IT sector,......... I Nishant Nischal, don't think that I should look for more reasons to call myself a real proud India. :-)

**DAVID COPPERFIELD (1849)** BY Charles Dickens.

Whenever I open this huge British novel (though very occationally now days), I see myself growing young from a 9 year old kid to a 20 year old man. I first went through its Hindi translation in 1997 and fell in love with it. It was also an abbreviated form and thankfully was shrunk to just 50 pages. (A book with with more than 100 pages can hardly attract a 9 year old kid.)

3 years later while shuffling through Dad's old book shelf, I found this original Penguin book. Since then I believe, I have gone through this historic 956 page fiction more than 11 times. It may sound strange. Why would anyone go through a book 11 times? At least never if it has got over 900 pages. But the case with me is different. At any time I'm busy with two different books (except my text books). One is David Copperfield and the other can be any that I picked recently. Once I'm finished with the second book, I close it forever. But in the case of DC, I start from the beginning yet again. The leaves of Rose ( see below in pictures) are used as page markers. I go with a Snail's speed with its yellow pages, rcently I finished it in a complete year ( no matter if very slow, I really love this book).

When this edition was printed in 1985, I wasn't even born. Even my Dad also can't recollect from where he got it ? I'm so much attached with it that while reading I get happier when something good happens with the character and viec-versa when he is suffering. Everytiem I feel that I wouldn't read it again once I'm finished with it but I it never happens. So many night I fell asleep while reading it and I guess, the same number of nights have also gone sleepless. My elder brother says- "Stuff toys wouldn't have been invented if everyone was like me in his childhood days." :-)

THE DORMANT SEEDS

As a blistering and equally beautiful year is passing by silently, I know it will leave behind some unanswered questions. And I'm also sure that few more difficult one's will arrive as the coming will start proceeding. During this undefined period between Chrismas and New Year, when endterm exams are over and the studies are on a hault for a little while, I feel that the life has turned even more miserable.....The Vaccant Hours, The Tik-Tok of the analogous clock on the wall, etc. are forcing me to focus more on the coming year than the beautiful one which is just passing by. In 2009, I'd like to plant some new seeds in my life, which are in dormant state right now. Dormant seeds, like seeds of hope, seeds of faith and belief, seeds of spirituality, seeds of compassion and fresh dreams. I know my loved one's will support me as they always have. COME 2009, MR. LONELY IS WAITING. :-)

Today, I have no idea where my school friends are? After completing my Intermediates, I never looked back to the school. Not because I got very busy with my higher studies, instead, because I didn't wanted to look back. I just had to move on with something, and in between I blocked all the communication channels with them. I have no regrets, it was necessary and today I'm glad that I took that harsh deceision. I really have no regrets, finally I have got few new friends and I'm happy with them. :-)
But at the same time, I also get scared by imagining a day when one of my schoolmate will suddenly appear on the path of my long journey.......... LONG?? Did I say a long journey? So sorry for that. You know what? I always have believed that there is no need of bothering about the journey if the path is beautiful. And if the feeling of reaching the summit is even more beautiful, then why to bother about the path either? For my own sake of good; I will keep following the foggy roads, I'll keep trying to stop the monotony and will do my best to get dissolved in myself. (But I will also make sure that I'm not hurting anyone in between that.)

Every individual changes over time, and so have I. But the amount of change that I have seen in myself, I believe, has occured in relatively shorter time. From past few years, I have kept myself away from people (except my lovely family). AS I mentioned above, I always followed the foggy roads and by doing that I have been the happiest. But in between I also passed through a period of failure. And now suddenly after all those voidy but equally lovely years, I'm confused. I'm confused that keeping myself in isolation has helped me or it has broken me?

You must be thinking that do I know anything properly? Well, to be very honest, I don,t know that also. "May be this is the one and the only one disadvantage of keeping yourself in isolation. You have no one to answer those silly questions of your's which you think are important." :-(
